Pismo Beach

Ahhhhhh the ocean. Keller had an overnight business trip in Santa Maria, CA so the kids and I decided to tag along and go to Pismo beach. We had a wonderful relaxing time doing a little shopping, running in the water, building sand castles and finding sea shells and sand dollars.

I am reminded of God's awesomeness in creating this beautiful earth. It was like I could hear him whispering with each wave. It was a blessing to play with the kids and have a fun day before picking Keller up and heading home.

Getting back to normal

Well we are finally getting back to normal life after a lot of traveling. We were blessed to have Keller home an extra week after Disney Land. We built a sand box for the kids and covered a play area for them with a sun shade. It is a fun spot and they just love it.

All our plants and trees are growing and the yard looks beautiful. Our newest member of the family is a squirrel that lives in the rocks above our plants. He has been eating away......and needless to say making me crazy!!!!! We also have a little mouse who has moved in under our deck. Our favorite visitors in the back yard are all the lovely birds that have been feeding out of bird feeders. They fill the yard with beautiful song.

Our next project is building a permanent shade cover over the deck. Always have a project going.

Disney Land Trip

Disney Land was wonderful!!!! The whole family had fun playing, laughing and spending lots of time together. It was the perfect time to go after spring break and before the summer crowd. We were able to ride the rides as many times as we wanted and never had more than a 10 minute wait. Gracie we found out is a roller coaster girl she loved Space Mountain. Ashten loved all the rides. He was able to go on everything but the roller coasters. We spent 4 days in Disney Land and that seemed to be the perfect amount of time. We hope to go again in the spring of 2008.
