Here in the Country

We are here at Keller's parents house or as the kids call them Memaw and Boppa. =) We are having a great time and it has been a blessing to be with them the last week. We have one week to go and we will be moving in to the new "Ranch".

Gracie and Ashten love all the bunnies, goats and dogs at Memaw and Boppa's and they really love running around and having huge space to run around. It brings joy to Keller and I to see them so happy and to know that they will love a huge yard to run around and play.

Not much else going on around here. We just send our love and we hope to catch up with you all soon.

Reduced to Boxes

We have officially moved the majority of our belongings into the storage unit - a 12'x30' storage unit with a 20 foot ceiling. Yes, and it is full! How could we could we have possibly collected this much stuff in the 6 years we have been married. Scary and amazing.

Today, we made the big move. I called in all my favors and had Joe Bischopink, Morgan Bishop, Mat Biggins, Michael Holden, Randy and Rhonda Cerveri, David Harger, My Dad, Me, and Maria to carry boxes and furniture. We used everyones personal pickup trucks to save money, although we looked like the Clampetts from the Beverly Hillbillies rolling down the road! We were able to move everything in about 3 hours and then over eat on pizza. :) Thank you all so very much for helping us! We really appreciate it.

We are very excited to move on and start a new phase of life. Praise God for his goodness! We are so blessed. We have been working hard getting the house ready, and we are praying that the new buyers will have a wonderful future in it.

Beautiful Day

What a day!!!!! It is the perfect temperature outside and the wind is just right. Today we had a moving sale and then moving more boxes to storage before the big move day. =) I took some great pictures of Gracie and Ashten with the flowers in the backyard. They are such hams. The camera comes out and they start posing and smiling!!!! I guess that is what the age of the digital camera brings. =)

Playing Tag

Yesterday Gracie, Ashten and I played tag in the backyard. It was so refreshing to feel like a kid again. Giggling, laughing, running and feeling the sun and light breeze dance across our faces. The kids chased me till I fell on the grass. Laying there staring at the blue sky, I was so touched by the awesomeness of the big blue above me and remembered being a child and how I could stare at the sky for hours in perfect calm. It was just what I needed and I Thank the Good LORD for those precious moments. With my dad facing cancer we have all been facing our health and living life to it's fullest and I have been reminded that disease or not each and everyday is precious. Many blessings to all our friends and family.

Packing up

It is packing time!!!!! We are starting the long process of packing up over the next couple weeks and moving in to "The Ranch". We are still working on ranch names. It is really sad to leave our house and exciting all at the same time. We have plenty of work at the new house to keep us busy year round. =) First we will be getting all the sage brush cleared and work on getting either sod or seed put in for our lawn, planting trees and getting rid of the dreaded pigeions.

Our great friends David and Jessica have asked to be married in our back yard in the spring/summer of 2008. We are so excited and they will be helping up get the back yard looking beautiful for the big day. Congrats!!!! David and Jessica. We love you.
